What is the difference between a member and a mentor?
A member – means a natural person and/or business that pays a membership fees in return for access to our membership benefits
A mentor – means a natural person and/or business that teaches, trains, guides and/or takes leadership responsibilities.
Terms & Conditions
Explore Networking is the property of Protech Sales Solutions PTY Limited (“Explore Protech and Protech Accounting”), a company duly registered in terms of the company laws of the Republic of South Africa.Explore Protech and Explore Networking promotes business opportunities between companies.
All online and offline activities by members, subscribers, website users, and event attendees using the website www.explorenetworking.com are offered to all users, conditional to your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Your use of this website constitutes your agreement to these Terms & Conditions. our Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice subject to the provisions set out in section 49 of Act 68 of 2008.
All users accessing the aforementioned website are subject to, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this legal notice, should the user not wish to be bound by these conditions they may not access, download, display and/or copy or distribute the content that is obtained from our website.
Membership of Explore Protech and Explore Networking
Membership of Explore Protech and Explore Networking is open to all companies and individuals that want to promote their goods and services to other companies, and, in turn, are open to promotion of other members’ goods and services.
Any company or individual can apply to Explore Protech and Explore Networking for membership. Explore Protech and Explore Networking reserves the right to deny and/or cancel membership as well as access to its events or online facilities, should the company or individual be deemed unsuitable for membership. (do you have a membership code of conduct)
Any company,individual and/or its representative acting in a manner not conducive to the aims of Explore Protech and Explore Networking can have their membership suspended or rescinded at the discretion of Explore Protech and Explore Networking. Such activities such as non-payment of fees, spamming members via email, posting of lewd or inappropriate content online or aggressive promotion, promotion of other networks to the detriment of Explore Protech and Explore Networking especially where such promotion is by a person with a rewarded position within another network and/or any promotional and marketing activities in the inappropriate arenas belonging to Explore Protech and Explore Networking such as the Explore Protech and Explore Networking WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages or other social media platforms can lead to suspension or membership cancellation. In such circumstances, no refund of fees will be made.
Company members may pay an annual subscription fee in return for benefits that are accorded to member companies and individuals. These include but are not limited to priority invitations for events, reduced or free entry to certain events at the discretion of Explore Protech and Explore Networking, free entry into the online directory and other services designed to increase business marketing opportunities for each of its members.
Each member company (hereinafter referred to as members) may send one representative to any event under the terms of its membership agreement. Additional guests are welcome to attend but are subject to event restrictions and charges as announced.
Explore Protech and Explore Networking Membership fees are charged monthly and members are liable on the first day of each month and then on the day of annual renewal should an annual fee apply.
Membership will commence once payment is received by Explore Protech and Explore Networking and on the understanding that the terms of membership including payment have been understood and accepted by the company.
Failure to pay for company membership will lead to a suspension of membership. Explore Protech and Explore Networking will pursue one full month payment and will only re-activate the membership once the monthly payment is received in full.
Payment of the annual membership subscription can be made in 12 (twelve) monthly amounts for those companies with two or fewer employees. However, the annual and monthly membership fee, once agreed and made, cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Renewal membership payments, except those paid by Standing Order or reoccurring direct debit, will be notified by invoice and email. Payment must be made before the end of the current annual or Monthly membership date. In such cases where payment is not received before the end of current membership, membership will be suspended pending settlement.
Online content
Explore Protech and Explore Networking members and subscribers are responsible for any content they post or transmit through any of our sites. They will be identified as the originators of such content and should act responsibility. All messages, postings, threads, alerts and emails should be related to the aims of Explore Protech and Explore Networking.
Explore Protech and Explore Networking does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of any content posted or disseminated through its site. By using these services you may receive content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Explore Protech and Explore Networking accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage and/ or loss incurred by the use of such content transmitted via its sites or platforms including social media pages and WhatsApp groups.
Posting of any unsuitable material could lead to suspension of subscriber privileges and cancellation of subscriber services without refund. Alerts are for information, news, flagging of business opportunities, referrals, recommendations, requests and general items that will benefit members.
At all times, Explore Protech and Explore Networking members should promote other Explore Protech and Explore Networking member companies before non-member companies.
Explore Protech and Explore Networking will encourage non-member companies benefiting from the system to join Explore Protech and Explore Networking. Where non-member companies are receiving repeat referrals and still remain outside the network, we reserve the right to notify the referring member to desist from future referrals. Failure to obey this request will result in suspension of Alerts rights for the member company.
Privacy
All personal and corporate information is only used by Explore Protech and Explore Networking and Protech Sales Solutions PTY Limited for its own business purposes. We act in accordance with South African and UK Data Law and will not pass on your details to third parties.
From time to time, Explore Protech and Explore Networking may need to work with agencies which provide additional business services, such as support, training or access to finance. In such cases, these other agencies will be providing services that we believe you will find useful and are themselves usually members of Explore Protech and Explore Networking. They will not have access to your data.
Advertisers
Dealings with any partners, associates or advertisers are entirely between you and the company directly.
Event bookings
All companies and their representatives must book ahead of the event should they wish to attend. Prior booking are a prerequisite of admittance. Where no booking is made, entry cannot be guaranteed. In circumstances where no booking has been received, Explore Protech and Explore Networking can only permit entry subject to the host venue’s agreement with Explore Protech and Explore Networking and is permitted subject to full payment being received within 24 hours.
Explore Protech and Explore Networking reserves the right to pursue non-paying companies for payments due. Members can be suspended for non-payment of due event fees until such time as the amount due is settled.
All bookings must be made through our online booking system, our Eventbrite portal or by email. A place is reserved for 3 (three) days pending payment when the booking is accepted as confirmed. Payment is confirmation of attendance. Where bookings are made and accepted and a payment arrangement is allowed on the day, the booking company accepts full liability in the event that they do not attend. Explore Protech and Explore Networking will invoice for the agreed payment and seek settlement by return.
Cancellations and refunds are only accepted when notice is given at least 48 (Forty Eight) hours before the event* and where cancellations are allowed at the venue or online hosting platform. In such circumstances, we will attempt to offer a full refund or transfer the booking to another event of the booking company’s choice. All refunds and transfers are at the discretion of Explore Protech and Explore Networking.
The production of a datasheet for Explore Protech and Explore Networking evenst are discretionary and do not constitute part of the event fee. Whilst every effort is made to include all attending company’s details on datasheets, booking an event do not guarantee company data being included on event materials. This applies to late bookings – bookings made within 24 hours of an event, or where a booking has failed to appear on the system due to technical reasons.
All data collected when booking is subject to our Privacy terms above. We do not keep and/ or store any card details when these are used for bookings.
External links
Explore Protech and Explore Networking have no control over external sites and their site advertisers and accept no responsibilities over external sites, content, products or services.
Cancelling membership
At the end of each membership year and/or month, every member will be invited to renew their membership. At the start of the new year and/or month’s membership, all benefits of membership shall remain provided payments for the previous and current year and/or month are in order. The office will notify the member business of any arrears.
Those members choosing to leave Explore Protech and Explore Networking should inform the office of their decision before the end of that current year/month membership. Benefits of membership will be removed on the last date of that membership including event attendance and any other benefits of membership available at the time of cancellation.
In order for these benefits to be reinstated, membership must be reactivated and overdue fees must be settled. Explore Protech and Explore Networking will inform each company of their status and fees due.
The cancelling member company forfeits all rights of attendance to Explore Protech and Explore Networking events. Should an employee of the member company wish to attend a future event, the company will have to rejoin Explore Protech and Explore Networking.
Cancelling Standing Orders or Debit Orders
It is the responsibility of the cancelling member company to cancel any Standing Orders to Explore Protech and Explore Networking. Should overpayments be made, Explore Protech and Explore Networking will charge R550 or $36 administration fee to organise the first repayment. This will be taken out of the refunded amount. Further refunds will be subject to administration fees of R550 or $36 each.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Explore Protech and Explore Networking, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your use of any online content, services, failed networking, failed business, failed dealings with other members or your breach of the terms of these Terms and Conditions.
